can和could的區(qū)別：

　　1、can 表示現(xiàn)在的能力，could 表示過(guò)去的能力。

　　例句：

　　He can speak a little English now.

　　She could play the piano when she was five.

　　2、在表示請(qǐng)求許可時(shí)，沒(méi)有時(shí)間區(qū)別，在語(yǔ)氣上could 更加委婉客氣。

　　例句：

　　Can I use your pen ?

　　Could I have a look at your book ?

　　3、在表示可能性方面，沒(méi)有時(shí)間區(qū)別，can 可能性比could 大;表示邏輯上或理論上的可能性，而不是某種實(shí)際上將要發(fā)生或正在發(fā)生的可能性。

　　例句：

　　Can it be true? 這會(huì)是真的嗎?

　　Anybody can make mistake.任何人都可能犯錯(cuò)誤。

　　The weather here could be very cold in winter. 冬天這的天氣有時(shí)很冷。

　　4、在下面幾種情況時(shí)只能用Could

　　(1)虛擬語(yǔ)氣里面只能用could

　　例句：

　　If it had not rained so hard yesterday we could have played tennis.

　　本該去打球的，但由于下雨沒(méi)去

　　(2)表示委婉的時(shí)候 只能用could

　　例句：Could I use your pen?(不知道對(duì)方是否借鋼筆，很委婉的請(qǐng)求)

　　(3)表示建議和忠告，只能用could

　　例句：

　　Could you give me a suggestion about learning english?

　　你能給我一條學(xué)英語(yǔ)的建議嗎?
